He was quite a disturbance and I was a bit fearful that he would become a danger to those of us around him. There should be some type of limitation on alcoholic drinks and how many are allowed to be drunk in a certain amount of time. (I know the attendants are allowed to refuse when they feel necessary, but he drank them so quickly that they would not have noticed early enough.)"

Irgendwann fing eine roten Flüsssigkeit an, auf uns zu tropfen. Wein. Die Aufmerksamkeit der Crew hierfür zu erhalten war schwierig. Schließlich fanden sie die Ursache (zerbrochene Weinflasche in Business auf dem Oberdeck) und setzten uns um. Schwach. Wir werden Emirates in Zukunft möglichst meiden."

Positiv: "Gefallen haben die neue Kabine, das technisch aktuelle IFE und die Holzoptik-Akzente um Fenster und in den Toiletten."
Negativ: "Unser Flug hatte 6 Stunden Verspätung. Morgens um 04:00 Uhr durften wir zwei Stunden Schlange stehen, um einzuchecken und einen neuen Anschluss zu bekommen. Wir konnten aber keinen alternativen Zielflughafen wählen. Das wäre vielleicht in DXB möglich gewesen. Nicht in HKG. Abflugzeit war plötzlich ca. 30 Minuten früher, als man uns am Vorabend gesagt hatte. Also zum Gate gehetzt, nachdem Checkin endlich absolviert war - und dann doch noch eine weitere Stunde Verspätung gehabt. Im Flug Nachtcatering für Tagflug - zuerst Frühstück, später ein leichtes Mittagessen (ursprünglich Mitternachtssnack). Das hätte man in 6 h umplanen können. Zu schlechter Letzt gab es kaum Getränkeservice und die Crew schien die meiste Zeit schwatzend hinter geschlossenen Vorhängen in der Galley zu verbringen. Schon recht unprofessionell."

Negativ: "In my flight from Milan (MXP) to New York (JFK), I had a seat on 63C (aisle seat). A woman seating on my sided asked me to change my seat with her son who was on 74F (middle seat). I said no, because it would be a seat several rows back an in the middle. I had paid more to have the aisle seat, so it did not make any sense to change to a middle seat. However, some minutes later, an Emirates employee asked me again if I could change the seats. He created such an awkward situation, that it was impossible to do not change to the other seat. I tried to argument that he was giving me no other option, but to accept the change. In summary, I had a good seat due to the higher fee that I had paid, but I was transferred to the back in a middle seat. I thought Emirates was a serious company. As I told their employee, I do not plain to fly with them anymore."

It took over 2 hours to get through checked baggage and customs in the middle of the night because after we had already filled out all information regarding piece of luggage with one baggage counter employee. Japanese Customs refused to let us through due to "unaccompanied baggage" since the piece was lost by the airline and had us go back to another baggage employee who couldn't grasp that we already went through the process and had no clue what to do."

We usually fly in business class when traveling to Europe, but this time we were pleasantly surprise that the economy on our flight was as good as business on most American airlines. There were no staff on the bus. I was pregnant and not offered a seat and came very close to passing out from the situation. I love emirates but the Dubai airport makes me reconsider flying with them again."

The guy next to me was a little imposing which made it uncomfortable - nothing emirates can do about that. Furthermore, it seems there's a lot more turbulence these days and the seat belt sign seems to be used liberally so we got pinned down to out seats with our meal trays for quite sometime. I do however find that the DXB-JNB flights seem to take quite long with their meal cleanup the best of times. It may be worth looking at reevaluating this process to see how you can speed it up. I don't think this is a crew issue, I think this is a system/process issue."

Negativ: "Some of the most unhelpful, incompetent and unprofessional staff i have ever had to encounter. Honestly the worst flight of my life. NEVER flying with Air Arabia again and I recommend everyone else spend a little more money to fly with another airline to avoid the hastle this airline will without a doubt put you through. I have submitted a complaint with Air Arabia, let us see if they even reply"

Positiv: "I liked the fact that the flight was on schedule in spite of the fact that one passenger seemed to cause a delay on forgetting to locate his passport from his own carry on ! I also liked the content shown on the screens as they juggled my ken a bit! Food was to taste despite the cabin pressure! The cabin crew were just amazing!"
Negativ: "I did not like the fact that I had to strech my pate and strain my eyes to view the screens. The food was a bit expensive on board unlike online!I feel the variance is unjustifiable. Seats are so squeezed and unadjustable for more comfort!"

Negativ: "Tried to book baggage and seats online for flight from Colombo to Sharjah but website wasn't working, so called their office in Colombo. Was told it was too late to book baggage so would have to pay more than double the regular charge. I explained repeatedly that I had tried to book it but the website was down but the lady on the phone completely ignored what I was saying. She then said I should have called them to report the problem - insinuating that it was somehow my fault that their website wasn't working. Quite an interesting twist on 'customer service' in a service industry company. Nothing in the email I received from them stated what to do should their waist fail; no number to call, no procedure, nothing. I had to take a 1-hour trip into the city to speak to them directly at their office. The lady there I spoke with simply made a few mouse clicks and the problem was solved. This of course begs the question of why that couldn't have been done over the phone. The lady on the phone put me on hold for over 10 minutes, clearly hoping that I would give up and hang up. Air Arabia should fire this person immediately as she has no business being in the customer service industry if she is going to be so insulting to a paying customer. As a member of the company she sheds a horrible and unprofessional light on it."
