Overbooked flight led to a 30 minute delayed departure trying to get 3 volunteers to accept $1000 vouchers and a next day flight. This was an older configured aircraft without charging ports and with headphone plugs in the armrests. Bathrooms were tinier than most. Crew was friendly. Food was limited to a small snack bag and a mini cola.

It was good that there was a vegetarian option for lunch in First Class. The sandwich was pretty good.

Verspätet

Gepäck kam leider nicht an und wir wurden erts nach langem warten informiert. Swissport team hat aber einen fantastischen Job gemacht und unsere Lost&Found Formulare mit uns ausgefüllt.

Only reason I did bad on food and entertainment was because flight was a short flight.

Wenn man schon genug für den Flug bezahlt kann man auch wenigstens umsonst Unterhaltung haben wie z.B. die Filme. Finde ich etwas unverschämt, dafür zu bezahlen müssen.

Leider hatte die Lufthansa nicht genug Verpflegung an Board. Dies war schon auf dem Hinflug der Fall. Bereits ab Reihe 19 konnten die vegetarischen Speisewünsche nicht mehr bedient werden. Sehr schade bei einem 3,5 Stunden Flug, wenn man das Essen gedanklich eingeplant hat.

Auf die Frage in der Business Class, ob es ein bisschen wärmer gemacht werden könnte, da es von unten kalt zieht, nur die lapidare Antwort, das käme wahrscheinlich von der Aussentür und die Temperatur wurde nicht höher gestellt. Also ein Flugzeug, wo es durch die Tür zieht. Na, ja, schlimmer geht's eigentlich kaum noch.

Frankfurt - Paris ist der Business Class lohnt sich nicht - es gibt kaum einen Unterschied!

This flight was nearly empty so there was plenty of room and no problems. Everything on time or early.

Liegt ungünstig, wenn man mit Auto oder Bus an-/Abreist, weil erst der ganze Flughafen umfahren werden muss. 8kg Handgepäcksregelung ist echt nicht zeitgemäß und eine schickane. Mit Laptop, Tablet, Rasierer, Ladekabel und 1x Wechselkleidung knackt man das ganz schnell. Lufthansa Group ist bei manchen Flügen penibler als Ryanair! Es müssen ja keine 23kg sein, aber selbst KLM bietet 12kg."

The flight that you gave us, JQ7 from Melbourne did not exist. Therefore we had to stay in Melbourne for another 24 hours and find another new route and flights to return to Heathrow. All a strain and stress. Your service to us for the return journey useless. So far, I have not found that you have corrected any of your failings and therefore it could also happen again to others tomorrow, next week, or next month. The return journey was a total disaster.

I have no issue whatsoever with the 23kg allowance per bag but the process for checking your bag, especially if you were over the limit and what the consequences may be were not obvious. My wife and I had two bags, mine was 4kg under the allowance and my wife's was 2kg over. If I had known this was going to be a potential GBP45 charge we would have shuffled things about to balance the bags. It needs to be made clear to people that they can actually weigh their bags first to find this out. My bag was already tagged and gone when we went through a lot of hassle to reduce my wifes bag weight. Anyway, this is a suggestion so that future passengers do not encounter the same frustration."
Positiv: "WS Care Center staff Minmico (think it was her name) arranged the 4:15 flight instead of the 6 pm flight but only because I requested her to check that flight when I returned to the CC to find out if it was possible to get on an earlier flight. I should have been advised when I first arrived at the CC from my delayed flight from Toronto that I could check back at the CC to see if there was a cancellation. Minmico allowed me to use her phone a couple of times to call my husband to advise him of the changes in my flight, which was very helpful. She tried hard just prior to the flight departure to have my bag delivered to the 4:15 flight but was unsuccessful. She gave me food vouchers, which I liked. I also thought the WS CC staff in Abbotsford was very helpful explaining the process for making a baggage claim when my bag didn't arrive due to my last minute flight change - the $100 voucher was appreciated when I picked up my bag the next day."
Negativ: "Had to sit in the plane for almost 2 hours because the computer was being fixed on the plane. Crew did not communicate in a timely manner about when we would be flying.The plane should not have been in operation if the computer didn't work and passengers should not have had to wait on the plane for two hours while it was fixed. I missed my WS connecting flight to Abbotsford from Calgary and was only rescheduled on a plane departing 6 hours later! No one at WesJet Care suggested there may be a cancellation on an earlier flight - I had to arrange it by returning to the WS Care Center. I just barely made it onto an earlier 4:15 pm flight but without my bag which was put onto the later 6 pm flight. I chose to return the next day to pick up my bag."

You can use any bathroom on the plane as well which is huge on those rare times you need to use it. They are funny and chatty and seem to enjoy working together which all translates to a less rushed and relaxed experience for us the passenger. I really can’t complain....I had an entire row to myself....the best you can hope for, when riding on a plain for hours that’s like winning the lottery!"

Also the flight was "running low" on drinks and so I they only came through the cabin once to offer soft drinks, which I needed as I had still to catch a red eye and function during my layover. I wasn't pleased with them. Lastly the West Jet connect app worked just fine for my ipad but despite advertising my wife was unable to get it to work on her computer (mac) despite multiple attempts. If TVs are no longer going to be standard on planes someone needs to be present to help with I.T. when the system isn't working as advertised."

It adds a stress to the customer not knowing. - Flight of 4.30 hours and no free meals. - Impossible to use my hear phones in the plane so I couldn't hear the TV channels. I was also expecting movies and series like in Delta."
