Alle nass ins Flugzeug. Aber, das liegt natürlich an der Abfertigung in Birmingham und nicht an KLM."

Where were the cabin crew during the delay? They may have not been onboard given their lack of visibility during the delay. The only time they appeared was to distribute a cutlet of water and a packet of dry biscuits. Inflight, apart from the meal service routines, on this 13+ hour flight the crew were notable for not being visible."

Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Positiv: "Not much. I also missed my flight the night before because American closed the front desk early and would not print my ticket! Even tho I was there over an hour before my flight. So I ended up on this flight the next day"
Negativ: "I did not like that I missed my flight the night before due to something going wrong in the airport and all the counters were closed down early To go help. (I was told this the next day when I asked) So I actually had to pay for the next flight out tomorrow for no reason just because something happened and American refused to print my ticket still. Also I couldn't self check In either! had I been able to do this I would have made my flight, this airport is small I would have walked thru security in 5mins. Didn't make any sense to me at all. I was highly disappointed with Alaska and American. Alaska made me buy a new ticket and when I asked the American counter they didn't understand why I had to pay, they said I should have just been re booked!"

Negativ: "Bumping passengers with seated tickets so you can fly additional crew elsewhere is 100% unacceptable. Luckily I got on the flight last minute but only after dealing with extremely unprofessional staff/supervisors at the gate"

Ich hatte einen freundlichen Helfer am Schalter, aber sein Supervisor hat mich dann ohne zu Fragen einfach irgendwie umgebucht, z.B. ein Tag später, dann mit Übernachtung irgendwo. Die Flüge am selben Tag wurden zuerst gar nicht berücksichtigt, bis ich dann online selber gesucht habe. Schlussendlich hat mir ein Mitarbeiter der Lufthansa geholfen noch einen Flug am gleichen tag zu bekommen. Mein Gepäck ist bis jetzt 48h später noch nicht aufgetaucht. Gesamthaft für United ein sehr schlechter Service!!!"

Negativ: "I am almost always cold. Not so on this flight. The temperature on the plane was so miserably hot that I had sweat pouring down my face. Everyone around me was trying to open their air vents to get more cool air and/or fanning themselves. I asked the flight attendant about it and he said that the plane was just old and it would cool off eventually. It did, about 20 minutes before they cut the air down again for landing. By the time I got off the plane I was nauseated from the heat and stale air. It will be a long time before I fly United again if this is any indication of the condition of their planes."

Völlig veraltetes Entertainment System, mit gerade einmal acht Filmen, keine Pausefunktion, keine Möglichkeit zurückzuspulen, Bildschirm ist schlanke 12 Zoll groß. Bordtoilette war alt und schlecht gepflegt."

Keine Serien etc. for free. Mein Fazit: Fliegen in den USA ist für den Europäer gewöhnungsbedürftig. Dabei sind die Preise für die Flüge nun nicht ungewöhnlich günstig, als dass das die ganzen zahlungspflichtigen Services rechtfertien würde..."

We had to buy some cloth and still waiting for response from them. 3) We almost missed the connection flight (we had almost hour and a half) because the line for connection flight security was enormous and only 1 person worked in the security. Not only that we were rushed by the crew to RUN (!!!) for the bus, that was ridiculous ! We could fall and hurt ourselves."

Positiv: "We were delayed boarding slightly, delayed sat on a steaming gate shuttle then sat on the tarmac for a couple of hours while storms passed. But the crew gave regular updates, provided food and water, allowed us to walk about. It was as plesent as such a situation could be."

Negativ: "1. The boarding process was chaotic - it was not clear where a line was to form or if there was an ordered process for boarding. 2. As an economy passenger, I was to purchase a meal between Geneva and Brussels. Since I didn't want a meal I was surprised to learn I also had to pay for a small, regular coffee."

Positiv: "The flight attendant crew were all very friendly and so good at giving out drinks and water and whatever we needed. I felt really pampered and I wasn’t even in first class. Brussels airlines literally saved my whole trip back from becoming a nightmare because I had a really short connection time in the Brussels airport. I was sprinting to the gate to make my flight and was running real late and they had waited for me! The staff at the gate and at the passport control all were very helpful. I was very impressed by everybody involved and so appreciated that I could make it home as planned instead of having to find a new flight."

Negativ: "i went to the (galley?) at the back and politely requested a drink, a member of staff refused me because they were just about to begin serving drinks. that's stupid. i was sat right at the back of the plane and wouldn't get a drink for at least 20 minutes because service starts in the middle and works back. fortunately another member of staff (older, female) just reached over and handed me a drink, because she understood it was easier and quicker and more reasonable to do that than to be a dick about it."

Negativ: "the cabin crew refused to serve any drinks until they served food and they were only serving front to rear, rather than front & rear to middle. as i was sat right at the rear of the plane it meant i didn't get anything to drink for 30-40 minutes. i thought delta were poor on that front but these guys were ridiculous. as for the food: i don't expect much from airlines but i don't consider cake & toblerone to make a breakfast, even if it was served with orange juice."

Negativ: "There was a very long wait checking in and boarding and there was no kosher food available on the flight."

He gave me some water, but pretty much shamed me in the process. He was saying it was hard for the crew to have to charge, but they were made to do it now, and what would it look like if other passengers saw him giving me the water and not charging?! OMG!"

Why didn't the airline tell us upon check-in, or even announce to the passengers on the aircraft that the bags had not been loaded? This would have saved everyone 10 hours later to try to figure out what happened."
