I have siliver status on United and was told that there was no way to be considered for upgrade to different seat. I was told that the list was already full of higher priority customers. Yet at the same time the same employee announced those seats were available for purchase at $200 Euro for others. It seemed in both cases Lufthansa shuffled around passengers out of their selected seats for unknow reasons and also werent honoring frequent flier status programs for changing seats. Furthermore, the in seat entertainment did not work and it took quite a bit of effort including trying to move seats to get the flight attendants to reset the system (they said it would affect other customers who didnt have problems with their entertainment system). 8+hour flight is long flight to not have the system working. eventually the fixed it a couple of hours into the flight."

When I finally made it to my connecting flight with NO time to spare (very small window of approximately 45 minutes to make it to my connecting flight) my husband, my son and I were turned away from our flight due to over booking. The Eurowings manager guarantees we would be able to make another flight if we went to the ticket counter right away. At the ticket counter, (different airline) the ticket agent explained we’d have to transfer our booking over from Eurowings to the new airline. This left us NO time to make that flight the Eurowings manager guaranteed us we would make. We also waited 3 hours at the baggage claim office only for them to tell us they lost all our bags. Only 2 out of our 5 bags made it onto the flight and will be waiting at lost and found of our final destination and the other 3 bags are unknown of their whereabouts. The Eurowings ticket agent took ALL of our bags including my husbands and I carry ons, so we were left with no clothing and had to stay at the airport over night. This airline really sucks. We were never informed in advance of this over booking issue or I would have certainly made my own accommodations before hand. Will never fly Eurowings again. Definitely the worst airline I’ve traveled with. And I lost 5 bags in the process."

Positiv: "The Lufstansa flight we ended up boarding to San Francisco for a connector to Las Vegas was a pretty good flight. The entertainment and food choices were excellent. As a matter of fact I ended up declining the last meal served because I was still full from the first meal and snack. The crew was friendly and professional. I really liked the bathroom waiting area on the lower deck, which was great place to stretch out and do a few exercises on a long flight."
Negativ: "To begin with I should mention I am 6'1" and stocky, so the economy seat was a bit tight; my knees were against the back of the seat in front of me. The previous flight coming to Europe had more room between the seats. The biggest problem by far was that the Eurowings flight was delayed by 8 hours! The Lufstansa customer service at first handed us a sheet of paper with contact information for Eurowings, Once she found out that we booked the original flight through Air Canada, she was able to help us get another flight. The flight was routed through San Francisco, with a transfer to a United flight to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the United flight has 'technical' issues that delayed it another three and a half hours! So, rather than getting home to Las Vegas at 4 p.m. on Thursday, we ended up getting home at 4 a.m. on Friday morning. We never were told why the original flight was delayed 8 hours!"

Vom Purser via Lautsprecher die Bitte, zügig einzusteigen - die Crew helfe mit dem Handgepäck. Mit Mühe konnte ich meinen (LH-)Trolly aus dem Worldshop verstauen. Nach Boarding Complete steht plötzlich eine FA mit meinem Koffer im Gang und befragt einen unbeteiligten anderen Passagier, ob er allein reise. Weil dieser Herr die Welt nicht versteht, wird die Stewardess laut und pampig. Ich stelle klar, dass sie mit meinem Koffer hantiert, woraufhin sie sich vor meiner Reihe (ich sitze am Fenster) aufbaut und mich grimmig anschaut. Nach dreimaliger Aufforderung, mit mir zu reden, bekomme ich dann erklärt, dass mein LH-zertifizierter Koffer zu geoß sei, ich ihn zudem falsch in den Overhead-Bin gesteckt hätte. Zur Vermeidung von Ärger auf dem kurzen Flug willige ich ein und bitte, mir den Koffer zu reichen, da ich nicht die anderen Passagiere hochbitten möchte. Entgegen der vollmundigen Ankündigungen zur Hilfe beim Gepäck werde ich nur angeblafft, dass sie nicht dafür zuständig sei, Gepäck zu heben. Mein persönlicher Apell an diese FA: Liebe Saftschubse, fliegen Sie doch mal privat mit Ryanair! Dort können Sie sehen, wie Damen Ihren Job professionell, effizient und mit einem hohen Maß an Freundlichkeit erledigen, obwohl das Gehalt weit unter Ihrem liegen dürfte."

I stood around for 20 minutes asking anyone who would help me where the desk was. We were finally notified at 8:40 that eurowings was the last desk in the aisle."

We were confused when they did not give us our boarding passing for our connecting flight at our original departure desk, and were told we would receive the boarding passes at the gate in Zurich. I never received any notice about his being a Eurowings flight or instructions to check in online. Our incoming flight to Zurich was delayed at least a half hour and it took us a while to get to the gate for our connecting flight. When we arrived, the gate had just been closed and we were told we were not even on the ledger. We were told we would have needed to get our boarding passes at the Swiss Sor desk and required prior check in to be on the passenger list. We were also very confused about the fact that this was a eurowings fight even though our booking indicated Swiss. This has never happened to us before. We would have needed additional instructions for prior check in, and had we been on the passenger list perhaps the plane would have waited for us."

Information given in-flight was nice. I loved the electronic flight path information available on the entertainment console. Very difficult to meet carryon weight when carrying necessary electronics and chargers along with prescriptions and the recommended change of clothes. Made the trip stressful. I am used to meeting carryon SIZE requirements but the weight requirement was extremely irritating and unexpected. I would not have been able to do a one bag carryon of my clothing with the weight restrictions. It essentially forces a passenger to check their bag ($65 minimum)."

The passengers who paid extra for snacks with the ticket were served first and even after I said my ears were hurting and I needed something sweet to chew on (I was going to buy something to eat anyway) I wasn't served till roughly 75 minutes into the flight. The crew was inconsiderate towards passengers who bought economy seats and was focusing only on passengers who paid extra for seats and snacks. If that's the case then they should stop serving other customers anyway and tell us beforehand so that we can arrange our own food/drinks from the airport lounge"

We were then required to check our bags, but not until after we were told to combine our personal item with our large carry on bag & then told that it was too big. instead of crediting us the amount we'd already paid (€20), we were charged the full checked bag fee of €55. The gate agent was also very rude and not proficient at her job, causing us to delay the plane's departure. Exceptional customer service may have included refunding us the large carry on bag fee. Additionally, our 2hr flight cost us almost $200 each, not what I would call a budget airline price. We will not be flying Wizz air again & do not recommend this airline."

Das liegt zwar alles nicht direkt in der Verantwortung von Wizzair, aber zumindest sollte man darauf Einfluß nehmen können. Wenn vorher eingecheckt wird, sollte es nicht mehr als eine Minute pro Passagier dauern, wie das ja auch an anderen Flughäfen möglich ist."

I tried everything I could, until finally giving up. I figured I could try my best to explain at the airport. Terrivle plan. The airport charge for 2 bags was 65 euros each! More than the cost of the one way flight! Nobody could help at the airport despite me explaining in detail that I had tried multiple times to book online to save $. Seats were smallest I've ever been in, lines were extremely confusing and unorganized in boarding, and the air conditioning wasn't working. Will never fly wizz air again"

Die Informationen über die Wichtigkeit des Online Check-In bei Ryanair waren mehr als mangelhaft (Absicht?), weshalb ich am Flughafen 50€ für den Check-In zahlen musste! Ich habe eine Beschwerde an lastminute.com geschrieben, auf die ich bis heute keine Antwort erhalten habe. Das Unternehmen erscheint mir nicht sehr vertrauenswürdig, weshalb ich von einer Buchung mit lastminute.com definitv abrate!!"

Ich werde diesen Flug höchstwahrscheinlich nicht mehr buchen."

Negativ: "Ryanair requires printed boarding pass. Given that the free online check in is available just a day before departure, getting boarding pass became a headache. Half day of my holiday was spent for looking for the printing Center and staying in the line. Not surprisingly many people were also in line for printing of boarding passes. At first the price seems cheap but when you add up all extras charged the ticket is no longer attractive. Probably I will not fly with them again."

Positiv: "Leider war es uns nicht möglich, das Flugzeug zu betreten."
Negativ: "Wir konnten den Flug nicht wahrnehmen! Wir erhielten eine Bestätigungs-Email von Ryanair die jedoch nur aus HTML Code bestand und nicht lesbar war. In dieser E-Mail stand (angeblich), dass ein Online-Checkin durchgeführt werden muss, was wir nicht wussten. Am Flughafen, nach 2 Stunden Anfahrt, bekamen wir dann gesagt, dass aufgrund des Nicht-Online-Checkins eine Gebühr von 60 EUR pro Person fällig sei. Das ist übrigens genau der Preis des Flugtickets gewesen... Diese sollten wir am Schalter bezahlen. Wir gingen zum Schalter, ich ließ mich etwas darüber aus und sagte: "Ich sehe nicht ein, nun 120€ zu bezahlen". Der Kollege nahm meine Buchungsbestätigung und riss sie vor meinen Augen durch mit dem Kommentar: "Dann fliegen sie auch nicht!" Letztenendes sind wir dann von Köln aus mit unserem Privatwagen nach Berlin gefahren. 12 Stunden Autofahrt an dem Tag, weil wir morgens hin und Nachts zurück mussten. Fazit: NIE wieder Ryanair! Wenn man nicht mal in der Lage dazu ist, eine vernünftige E-Mail zu verschicken und dann noch so unverschämt mit seinen Kunden umgeht, dann ist echt was falsch. Günstig hin oder her. Hier ists einfach nur billig!"

If you are going to make customers queue in the corridor please put a sign up outside to indicate the you dont't have to queue"

Drinks were almost double that of other discount carriers that were more comfortable. Also, a very expensive box of chocolates, that we purchased as a gift, was stolen from one of our free checked bags, either in Barcelona or Bulgaria. We did not notice until we got home and unpacked."

The charge to check a bag was quite high. I was on Ryanair because we were flying with relatives who already had booked this flight. In future I will avoid Ryanair.
