Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

In waiting until everyone had exited the plane before being able to retrieve my bag, it completely defeated the purpose of the extra expenditure. perhaps boarding the rear of the plane first. regardless, my biggest concern was I felt like the flight attendant should have responded but elected to snub me. amazingly I lived to talk about it :-)"

Positiv: "Our flight was delayed an hour and a half about 18 hours before takeoff which was communicated to us before we got to the airport, so we got to sleep in later. We were unable to make our connecting flight because of the delay, but when we arrived in Toronto I had an email waiting to tell me that they had put us on another flight, which was direct, that would get us home at the same time we had been originally scheduled. The agent that we talked to once we got to Toronto also tried to get us on standby to another flight that would have gotten us home two hours earlier! Also, our bags made it home too after all of the changing! Great service, nice to have a charging station on board and the food was edible."

They did switch our boarding passes to a later flight, but only 1 of 3 pieces of luggage arrived in chicago (as did also to 4 other families on our flight) it took 2 more days until we received them."

Positiv: "I didn't have any food, so I can't speak for that; but it was the most relaxing and comfortable flight I've ever had in economy. Crew was friendly and attentive."
Positiv: "Flight attendants were friendly and considerate. Food was satisfactory and timed appropriately. Entertainment device worked and offered adequate variety. The aircraft itself was clean and comfortable. It was not overly air-conditioned as aircraft tend to be."
Negativ: "Boarding was slow and confusing: verbal instructions conflicted with posted signs, and it was hard to choose the right lines. Arrival in Canada was a nightmare! Customs and security were confusing, inefficient, and staffed by people who had little patience. There was much yelling and running around., there appeared to be little sympathy or concern for the dozens of passengers who were attempting to make connecting flights, and it was ridiculous to announce that security closed at 9p.m. .when there were planes on the runway awaiting connecting passengers and people with boarding passes who were not allowed to catch their flights."
Positiv: "The flight crew went advice and beyond to help look after our two kids (ages 2 and 4). It was a full flight but they were the only children on board."

Negativ: "Lights, reading, did not work in our row. Very disengaged attendants stats yes that they needed to be reset. When we asked the 3 rd time she said she'd get us a light to use, never did. When requesting extra water and coffee we were directed to the rear of the plane to get our own refills. Toilet not clean paper empty. Crew on long, raucous break. Finally crew seen taking coffee pots into lavatory. What on earth? There was a distinct lack of engagement from the crew, in general with passengers , not just my husband and myself."
Positiv: "and I'm average height (5'10"). Flight boarded early and we were airborne by scheduled take off time. Fortunately, we checked at scheduled boarding time and made last call. Crew was friendly. Movies were OK. Mostly old hat. Bring your own I-pod. They only come around once with beverages so you have to ask."

Negativ: "Seats are very small with little legroom. My husband is 6"1 and sat in a middle seat. His knees were jammed into the seat in front of him. Full flight so he could not be reseated. There is no entertainment system which was ok since it was a red eye flight. I've have flown on many local and international carriers and the space on this aircraft was amongst the smallest I've come across."
Positiv: "Great food and great service. Not much leg room in the 'free' seats but the flight crew allowed us to move to an empty row so we had lots of room. Would definitely fly with them again."
Negativ: "Worst flight ever. Had a technical difficulties 3 times in a row. Had to be cancelled and put on the next day and again same thing over and over. So missed all my connections. Cut short my vacation. Will never flight air Canada again."
