Negativ: "Das Bodenpersonal von Lufthansa am Düsseldorfer Flughafen ist unmöglich. Beim Check-In konnte mir die Dame keine Boardingkarte für meinen Anschlussflug drucken. Sie hat eine ganze Weile versucht mir die Karte zu drucken aber sie hat es nicht geschafft, später kam Hilfe dazu aber es ging trotzdem nicht. Daraufhin kam die Aussage, dass ich die Boardingkarte für Singaporeairlines vor Ort in Frankfurt holen solle. Ich möchte bemerken, dass die Umsteigezeit nur eine halbe Stunde betrug und der Frankfurter Flughafen bekanntlich sehr groß ist. Die Aussage der Lufthansa Supervisorin in Düsseldorf war: "Sie sind jung Sie schaffen das, laufen Sie einfach!" Anschließend musste ich noch 350€ für mein Extragepäck bezahlen, obwohl es eigentlich hätte 270€ hätte kosten müssen. Nach einer 10 Minütigen Dsikussion warum es denn so viel kostet, kam als Aussage, dass ich eigentlich Recht habe, aber das System leider die 350€ anzeigt! Es kann doch wohl nicht wahr sein, dass ich eigentlich 270€ bezahlen muss und es mir auch von der Lufthansa persönlich so bestätigt wird aber ich 350€ bezahle, weil das System es so anzeigt! Ich hatte lediglich einen einstündigen Flug mit der Lufthansa und anschließend einen knapp 9 Stundenflug mit Singapore Airlines. Bei dem Flug nach New York habe ich bei Singapore Airlines 2 Freigepäckstücke. Ich habe mich ausdrücklich bei der Lufthansa informiert, ob die Gepäckregelungen von Singaporeairlines gelten und mir wurde zweimal hundertprozent garantiert, dass die Gepäckbestimmungen von Singapore Airlines gelten, da ich länger mit der Fluggesellschaft fliege. Letzendlich musste ich mein zweites Gepäckstück doch bezahlen. 10 Minuten vor dem Boarding in Düsseldorf kam die Lufthansa Supervisorin zu mir und sagte, dass Sie wüsste, warum Sie mir keine Boardingkarte ausstellen kann. Es sei so, weil ich keinen Rückflug hätte, Sie hat mir erklärt, dass ich nicht in die USA einreisen könnte ohne einen Rückflug! Das Stimmt nicht! Lufthansa bitte belehrt euer PÜersonal richtig!!!! Ich habe ein J-1 Visum für ein Jahr und darf natürlich ohne einen Rückflug in den USA einreisen! Ich wurde vor Boarding aufgehalten und habe fast meinen Flug verpasst. Diese Dame wollt mich nicht fliegen lassen und mir einen "günstigen" Rückflug von 1500€ verkaufen! Und hat mir auch gedroht, dass Sie mich nicht fliegen lassen kann, weil Lufthansa sonst eine Strafe von 60.000€ bezahlen müsse. Ich möchte nochmal anmerken, dass ich mit der Lufthansa nur nach Frankfurt geflogen bin, also innerländisch! Wenn es so eine Strafe gegeben hätte, dann müsste Singapore Airlines diese bezahlen. Später sagte die Dame noch, dass Singapore Airlines mich sowieso nicht fliegen lassen würde! Also konnte ich plötzlich doch fliegen! Letzendlich bin ich gerade natürlich in den USA und JA ich durfte einreisen OHNE EINEN RÜCKFLUG!!! Denn ich arbeite in den Staaten und kann nicht hellsehen, was in 12 Monaten ist und wann ich zurückfliegen kann!!! Nie wieder fliege ich mit der Lufthansa!!"

Negativ: "I am writing to you because of the poor service that I experienced with your Operations Manager in Vienna, Paola Contestabile. I travel internationally four to five times a year for the past decade and I have never had such awful service as for my Lufthansa Flight 2329 on Jun 14th under confirmation #62RZK3. I was on my return flight to the US with the exact same carry on baggage that I had left the US with a week earlier- a roller carry on and a backpack for my laptop. This is my standard everywhere in the world that I travel and have never had an issue. I bought a painting on my trip and checked it in. With regards to my carry on, Ms. Contestabile was insistent that I could only have one piece for carry on. I told her to get the baggage rules and I would read them to her. I am a trained lawyer and value the meaning of words and rules. I explained that I am allowed one carry on and a personal item. She argued that my backback is not a personal item and that only a "laptop" is a personal item. I again explained that my personal item was my laptop bag, the same way a purse is a personal item for a lady. She finally relented and allowed me to pass through security and passport check. I assumed that this was the end of her confusion. Little did I expect that while sitting by the gate waiting to board the plane, Ms. Contestabile would emerge again and declare in front of all of the passengers that I would not be allowed to board the flight if I did not check my backpack. I told her this is unacceptable, since she had already cleared me. She said she had changed her mind. I found this response to be ridiculous. When I asked to speak with her manager, she refused to allow it, stating "I am the manager today." Ms. Contestabile even went to the pilot of the plane and convinced him that I was a "safety concern" because I wasn't following her ridiculous interpretation of the rules. This is a pure abuse of power and a threat to true safety when a ground crew member can make such a false and baseless accusation. Luckily, a woman passenger overhearing Ms. Contestabile told me that she could not believe the way she was treating me and offered to carry my bag for me. I am requesting a formal investigation into her actions and appropriate disciplinary procedures to ensure Ms. Contestabile is not allowed to threaten another passenger again."

We made he flight with out much time to spare."

Mir sollte es Recht sein."

As always the KLM crew took extra ordinary care of all of use. The service was wonderful and I scooted off the flight ahead of the girls to make my very short connection. The crew is what always make the experience delightful! Thank you again KLM."

The boarding crew really struggled to organized the boarding and wouldn't really care about people's status. We had to take a bus to the airplane, and even though both plane's entrances were open, they sent everybody to the front entrance. The comfort of the plane was horrendous, with seats over 20 years old and their business class was the same as the coach, but with no one sitting in the middle (can you get any lower than this?) The flight attendant woke me up to shove a food tray that I didn't want. We had to wait over 45 minutes after the plane landing to start seeing some luggage show up on the conveyor bell. The overall flight experience make southwest look like a luxury airline. This was my first and last time flying on KLM."

We had 5 people in our group, including 3 children under the age of 10. Instead of taking off on time or just a couple minutes late (and oh by the way, the flight to SMF was scheduled to land early because of favorable winds) the flight left the gate early while we were sprinting from gate C31 to A17, missing the door closing by minutes and stranding our party for a three hour wait for an aircraft that went to SFO instead (75 miles away from Sacramento). As the coup de gras, our luggage didn't make it on the plane to SFO so now it's sitting in Sacramento awaiting delivery. I know there were a lot of upset people with the weather delays yesterday, but a bit of foresight or accommodation by American or a particularly savvy gate agent could have prevented the 5 of us from being among them."

Ich hatte einen freundlichen Helfer am Schalter, aber sein Supervisor hat mich dann ohne zu Fragen einfach irgendwie umgebucht, z.B. ein Tag später, dann mit Übernachtung irgendwo. Die Flüge am selben Tag wurden zuerst gar nicht berücksichtigt, bis ich dann online selber gesucht habe. Schlussendlich hat mir ein Mitarbeiter der Lufthansa geholfen noch einen Flug am gleichen tag zu bekommen. Mein Gepäck ist bis jetzt 48h später noch nicht aufgetaucht. Gesamthaft für United ein sehr schlechter Service!!!"

Negativ: "my girlfriend and I were removed from the plane. she had received troubling news from her family that kept stacking on, not to mention we were tired from traveling all day thanks to delays making us miss our flights. and when we gestured for an attendant to come by, light dark skin, facial hair, glasses. he had customer service come by and we reiterated the question if we decided we would like to get off the plane would it be possible to receive a voucher for the flight. but we told him that we were just trying to consider options and we were good to go, and the customer service told us that the attendant did not feel comfortable with us on the plane, and that my girlfriend reached out and touched him and he did not feel safe. we never even raised our hands our eye brows. they caused us all kinds of hell, we couldn't get another flight till 2210, they embarrassed and humiliated my girlfriend because she was crying. unacceptable."

I appreciated all the customer service representatives coming together to help us out. But I was sick, and had to work a 12 hour day on Tuesday. With the rescheduled flight (and the crew was amazing for that), and getting up early for that and my 12 hour work day, I was up 20 hrs straight and had gotten MAYBE 5 hours of sleep in 36 hours. All together, it was just poorly handled by United, especially since we were at the Hub"

Negativ: "Security at O'Hare nearly made me late for my flight. I had to wait 1 1/2 hours in security, and then rush towards my plane. The seats were nice, but the not the best on their fleet. There was also no seat back entertainment. The only entertainment was if you had a smart device, you would download the United App and watch movies, shows and listen to songs through the app which is called Private Screening"

Dabei sind die Preise für die Flüge nun nicht ungewöhnlich günstig, als dass das die ganzen zahlungspflichtigen Services rechtfertien würde..."

Negativ: "Absolutely no compassion anymore in this industry, no discounts on really expensive fares for those suffering a loss and customer service has always been lacking. Thank you so much for not understanding how someone grieving could possibly get mixed up when booking a flight quickly when dealing with this kind of stress. They could have at least waived the 75 $ fee even though I made the mistake. I received nothing but a lecture from the customer service rep on how I shouldn't book travel when upset?!? Wow, thank you so much for giving unrealistic expectations instead of kindness to someone hurting. If more people showed concern and wellbeing for everyone you would only profit more. But show nothing and guess what, you get nothing too. I will never ride United airline again after listing to the cold words of your customer service rep."
