My suggestion to Lufthansa is if they intend to rip their customers off it's best NOT TO LET THEM FIND OUT ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE, or if they're simply too incompetent to match marketing offers to their booking department they could save considerable income and reputation by closing the ticket office. As it was, the impression was a low-class money grab. It's not like they can count on their partnership with United to make them look good."

From my bank the payment has been done yet to you. We had have double pay for one trip."

On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Within a few hours (and thanks to airline assistance) we were able to locate the suitcase. Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

Und da das Weiterflug-Gate direkt in der Nähe war, konnte man den Flieger auch ohne erneute und unnötige Sicherheitskontrolle erreichen. Allerdings gab's auch keine Passkontrolle. Mir sollte es Recht sein."

Alle nass ins Flugzeug. Aber, das liegt natürlich an der Abfertigung in Birmingham und nicht an KLM."

The boarding crew really struggled to organized the boarding and wouldn't really care about people's status. We had to take a bus to the airplane, and even though both plane's entrances were open, they sent everybody to the front entrance. The comfort of the plane was horrendous, with seats over 20 years old and their business class was the same as the coach, but with no one sitting in the middle (can you get any lower than this?) The flight attendant woke me up to shove a food tray that I didn't want. We had to wait over 45 minutes after the plane landing to start seeing some luggage show up on the conveyor bell. The overall flight experience make southwest look like a luxury airline. This was my first and last time flying on KLM."

The food was not very good and I'm not a huge fan of planes so old that my seat is a flotation device rather than having a real life jacket. Also part of my checked bag was broken off during transport."

Man konnte uns an diesem Abend keinen Ersatzflug mehr anbieten, sodass wir auf eine deutsche Airline ausweichen mussten. Hier hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. On an airplane that will always be use on long haul routes I won't expect the usual non-really-reclinable last row of seats. Moreover, the armrest does not disappear between seats when moved upwards, it goes up only 45 degrees. Quite a nuisance traveling with your s.o. or children if you want to lean on each other."

Negativ: "The plane is dated. There was dust in the lockers, my seat got stuck and the entertainment screen was difficult to see. But my big disappointment with this the disinterest of the cabin crew. The purser sits and completes his paperwork while coffee is slowly dripping out of an overflowing disposal unit, collecting under his shoe. The cabin crew on my aisle kept on forgetting what food people ordered and if you were snoozing or not in your seat while she did her round, you missed your chance."

The other hostess on the other side was handing out waters to whoever needed it. When a passenger sitting next to me asked for a spoon to eat his meal, the host shrugged his shoulders and didn't come back with one. He was blatantly rude and ignored his passenger. We were also not given blankets on an 7-8 hour flight. It was only on request. People who had requested one were then asked to fold and return their blankets (they were not asked kindly) before landing. The selection of tv, music, and shows on board were terrible as well. Barely any selection. Needless to say, this was the worst service I have ever had on an airline."

Negativ: "Boarding from a connecting flight is a disaster. For some reason brussel's air didn't validate our passports at the first international flight. Everyone was expected to do it at the Brussels airport. This would be fine if they had a sign up explaining what to do, or even a basic queue set up. There were passengers for 3 flights mobbed around the check point in front of our gate with nothing resembling a line. Everyone was completely confused and crawling over each other. Add that to our delayed landing that put us on the tarmac, forcing us back through security and a huge walk away from the gate... We very nearly missed our flight! Please please please figure out a way to communicate to your passengers and get people into a proper queue!!!"

I will be filing an official complaint with Brussels Airlines."

Negativ: "Woul have appreciated it if we didn't have to wait so long to be transferred to our take off location. It's extremely difficult when one has to wait 5 hours for a connecting flight. One tries to nap and it's time to move. One tries to nap and it's time to board the flight."

Positiv: "Very good entertainment system, huge choice of movies with all kinds of languages."
Negativ: "I had to ring the bell multiple times just to get something to drink..."

Positiv: "The service personnel was very nice and accommodating."
Negativ: "There was a screaming child the ENTIRE flight, and it seemed obvious to me that it was behavior and not a health/ear issue. I felt like flight personnel should have addressed it with the parent/guardian. Also my screen did not work and flight personnel were not able to fix it. It was a long 9 hour flight with no entertainment from Brussels to Chicago. UA 973 on 12-03-15."

Negativ: "The seats were SO thin. I hadn't seen a seat that thin before! Not enough cushion. No entertainment but it was a short flight."

Positiv: "There was a medical emergency two hours into the flight and the flight attendants did a very professional job of handling the situation."
Negativ: "Boarding was disorganized and after standing in line to board we were told to go to the transfer counter to get another boarding pass. This additional step should have been more clearly communicated to passengers so we could have taken care of it before we stood in the boarding line. We were sitting in the terminal for 90 minutes prior to the flight and never heard an announcement to go to the transfer counter prior to boarding. We already had boarding passes issued when we embarked on our connecting flight from Ljublana to Brussels. I was hammered by surprise with a 90 Euro extra bag fee but did not pay a fee for this extra bag on my trip to Europe from Dulles. This bag was a small athletic bag that was just over the carry on size limit and did not weigh that much because it only had clothing and shoes. Ryan Air pulled a similar stunt on me earlier this year and I've decided never to use Ryan Air ever again. I'm adding Brussels Airlines to my list of airlines never to fly again because of these ridiculous baggage fee policies. Really shortsighted business practice on their part. Lufthansa all the way for me!!!!"
