I thought I will make it to the connect flight to LA but the gate was already closed. I was instructed to do multiple errands, to get Turkish visa, etc all on my expense to be able to exit the transit as an American citizen and be able to take Turkish airlines bus to the hotel.The hotel was fine and the meals. The problem was that they calculate bus traveling time wrong in the hotel and put people on the bus next day too late, so due to the traffic jam, we barely made it to the airport, and then we had to stress the officials to put us on the fast passport control lane due to boarding time."

She would not allow us to wait for the rest of our party of 2 to go on the shuttle to the plane together. They were delayed because of your personal continually bringing other people to cut in line in front of them. There was plenty of time and the shuttle was already full, and we wanted to wait for the next shuttle to board the airplane together. She came out several times from inside of the building shouting at the three of us to get on the shuttle even when the person managing the shuttle flow at the bottom of the stairs was about to let us wait for the next shuttle. What was her problem(?) - she could use a lot more people skills and realize who pays her salary - the customers. She really tarnished the whole image and impression I originally had of TA. Also, there was no way to go to the bathroom without going through a long line of security again at the last gate before the shuttle which did not make sense."

Negativ: "I booked three round-trip tickets from LAX to Athens. Our daughter did not fly with us there but we checked with ticketing in LAX and they booked her seat anyway. The issue came when we tried to leave Athens the airlines then said that I had to purchase a one-way ticket! They informed me that the flight was cancelled for my daughter because she didn't fly to Athens. The ticket was almost $1,500.00 and I intend to get my money back but it was unfortunate that they had to charge me for it in the first place."

My husband and I were seated in two different rows even though we requested to sit together in an aisle and window seat and checked in the day before the flight This happened on all four legs of a trip to South Africa. Extremely narrow seats and little leg room. Felt like a cattle car. An aggressive woman with disruptive, screaming children was allowed to Torture passengers for a good five hours of the flight before the bursar finally moved her. This was after several hours of complaints from other passengers. She was eventually moved twice due to passenger complaints. The situation should have been handled after the first complaints which occurred two hours into the flight before the situation completely detiorated Food was terrible and meals ran out."

Um....no thanks-please get new cups!"

Passport reader was not working properly. Machines were slow and delayed in responding. Not enough staff available for assistance. Arrival at LAX was even worse. Plane had to taxi for 30 minutes all about the airport runways. Finally got to a gate -almost on the beach! Then had to bus everyone to main terminal. Slow in getting bags to the passenger pickup. It took us 2 hours post touchdown to get out of the airport! Almost missed the airport shuttle,"

Negativ: "At the gate there was a line formed for a second passport check but it was not clear to passengers that they needed to go through this line. A significant number of us had SSSS on our boarding passes which required us to go through a second, more thorough, TSA security procedure. We had to remove shoes, take electronics including phones from cases, have purse contents gone through by personnel, be screened for residue, etc. Due to this process and the fact that we were not advised to stand in the line, a number of passengers went through the second security check at the last minute which caused our takeoff to be delayed. The pilot made up the time during the flight. I ordered low sodium meal which ended up to be the same food at both meals which was a disappointment - pasta with tomato, eggplant sauce."

Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

Ich habe auch mein Ticket (79 Euro ) mit der dB für eine Bearbeitungsgebühr von 19 Euro tauschen können .. und die was nicht schuld und hat einen schlechten Ruf ;) gerne flexibler werden wenn Flexibilität von Passagieren erwartet wird . I sat on the upper deck and was very comfortable in comparison to other major airlines previously used for this particular flight. The plane was very clean and the crew were outstanding. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for crew, and they were ready with beverages, including tea and coffee, and snacks throughout the flight. In flight entertainment was good. All in all very pleasant flight to and from the U K."

Discussing this with the staff at check0in and at the gate, made no difference as they had no knowledge of what was available on that particular flight. Every time I fly with American I'm reminded of why I don't like the airline and I will do my best to avoid them moving forward regardless of competitive ticket pricing."

It was a good thing that I had bought sandwiches before boarding. Return flight LHR to LAX was on BA and the main course of chicken and mashed potatoes was substantially larger and tastier."

Positiv: "I am not sure why when i bought my ticket on kayak just fly was the company I had to deal with. They are extortionist. They should be deleted from your website."
Negativ: "Tried to change my flight, line got disconnected, when I called back the fees went from 500 to 1100 - they couldn't justify why. I will never use kayak again if these kind of people is who I have to deal with coupled with awful customer service they hung up on me three times."

Negativ: "Good was good. However I have an allergy to soy and there were soybeans in the prawn salad with no ingredients list no notification of such. I ate some too and didn't have my epi pen with me. Very scary!"

Negativ: "Seat and foot room was extremely cramped , and I'm 5"4 115 lbs, seat was horribly stiff and uncomfortable , the entertainment system broke throughout the plane an hour into flight, you never saw crew in less they were serving food, it was very very load , it was a pretty awful experience and I'm not looking forward to the flight home at all"

Negativ: "My booking was cancelled due to the fact that I didn't arrive at the airport 90 minutes ahead of time. I understand policy, but this is a pretty important rule that should be made clear. None of my 4 emails before my trip mentioned this rule. My plan was to be there 2 hours early, but i was coming from 5 hours away and there was a lot of traffic in Chicago. I ended up at the wrong terminal. By the time I made it to the correct terminal, (45 minutes ahead of departure) they had cancelled my ticket and would not refund or reschedule. I had to start from the beginning for an international ticket, now for a same-day purchase. We were stuck with no options."

Negativ: "I could not check in online and contacting a customer service representative at Finn air was not easy - creating a sense of uncertainty..."

Positiv: "Direct flight on AA from BOS to CDG."
Negativ: "Food was frozen. It took two hours to complete the service when people just want to go to sleep within the first 45 mins. Cabin crew has no concept of customer service. No individual entertainment. Earplugs are so cheap they barely hold in your ears. Just fly any other airline to see how it's done. Even AF does a better job!"
