Negativ: "Das Bodenpersonal von Lufthansa am Düsseldorfer Flughafen ist unmöglich. Beim Check-In konnte mir die Dame keine Boardingkarte für meinen Anschlussflug drucken. Sie hat eine ganze Weile versucht mir die Karte zu drucken aber sie hat es nicht geschafft, später kam Hilfe dazu aber es ging trotzdem nicht. Daraufhin kam die Aussage, dass ich die Boardingkarte für Singaporeairlines vor Ort in Frankfurt holen solle. Ich möchte bemerken, dass die Umsteigezeit nur eine halbe Stunde betrug und der Frankfurter Flughafen bekanntlich sehr groß ist. Die Aussage der Lufthansa Supervisorin in Düsseldorf war: "Sie sind jung Sie schaffen das, laufen Sie einfach!" Anschließend musste ich noch 350€ für mein Extragepäck bezahlen, obwohl es eigentlich hätte 270€ hätte kosten müssen. Nach einer 10 Minütigen Dsikussion warum es denn so viel kostet, kam als Aussage, dass ich eigentlich Recht habe, aber das System leider die 350€ anzeigt! Es kann doch wohl nicht wahr sein, dass ich eigentlich 270€ bezahlen muss und es mir auch von der Lufthansa persönlich so bestätigt wird aber ich 350€ bezahle, weil das System es so anzeigt! Ich hatte lediglich einen einstündigen Flug mit der Lufthansa und anschließend einen knapp 9 Stundenflug mit Singapore Airlines. Bei dem Flug nach New York habe ich bei Singapore Airlines 2 Freigepäckstücke. Ich habe mich ausdrücklich bei der Lufthansa informiert, ob die Gepäckregelungen von Singaporeairlines gelten und mir wurde zweimal hundertprozent garantiert, dass die Gepäckbestimmungen von Singapore Airlines gelten, da ich länger mit der Fluggesellschaft fliege. Letzendlich musste ich mein zweites Gepäckstück doch bezahlen. 10 Minuten vor dem Boarding in Düsseldorf kam die Lufthansa Supervisorin zu mir und sagte, dass Sie wüsste, warum Sie mir keine Boardingkarte ausstellen kann. Es sei so, weil ich keinen Rückflug hätte, Sie hat mir erklärt, dass ich nicht in die USA einreisen könnte ohne einen Rückflug! Das Stimmt nicht! Lufthansa bitte belehrt euer PÜersonal richtig!!!! Ich habe ein J-1 Visum für ein Jahr und darf natürlich ohne einen Rückflug in den USA einreisen! Ich wurde vor Boarding aufgehalten und habe fast meinen Flug verpasst. Diese Dame wollt mich nicht fliegen lassen und mir einen "günstigen" Rückflug von 1500€ verkaufen! Und hat mir auch gedroht, dass Sie mich nicht fliegen lassen kann, weil Lufthansa sonst eine Strafe von 60.000€ bezahlen müsse. Ich möchte nochmal anmerken, dass ich mit der Lufthansa nur nach Frankfurt geflogen bin, also innerländisch! Wenn es so eine Strafe gegeben hätte, dann müsste Singapore Airlines diese bezahlen. Später sagte die Dame noch, dass Singapore Airlines mich sowieso nicht fliegen lassen würde! Also konnte ich plötzlich doch fliegen! Letzendlich bin ich gerade natürlich in den USA und JA ich durfte einreisen OHNE EINEN RÜCKFLUG!!! Denn ich arbeite in den Staaten und kann nicht hellsehen, was in 12 Monaten ist und wann ich zurückfliegen kann!!! Nie wieder fliege ich mit der Lufthansa!!"

Positiv: "Munich airport on other hand. We got to the airport several hours in advanced. Everything from getting a boarding pass to checking and weighing in your own bag was electronically. Long lines and majority of the systems were not working. After trying several machines and being directed into 3 different lines I finally was able to check my bag in. I had to leave my other family members who were flying with me as they were in another line. At the machine to check my bag in , a airport worker ran up to my bag and slammed it onto the ground as well as ripped off my luggage tags. My bag was upright on the conveyer belt instead of on its side , but how rude the airport workers are, is rediculous. After I asked why she did that she just began ordering me around to move my bag after I got my bag through the machine I asked to speak to a manager as the airport worker was extremely rude and unprofessional. No one would give me the time of day and the same airport working out her hand in my face saying repeatedly goodbye in German. I've never experienced anything like this in my entire life. Trying to get through security a few travelers on a thin patience level started pushing people in line trying to by pass others it was so very chaotic workers had to go in between. Those travelers were complaining, because disabled travelers had a separate line that was faster. The worst airport experience I've ever had. Once on the plane everyone was pleasant. Crew was very helpful and always willing to assists"
Negativ: "There was a child on the plane that was screaming and crying on and off for several hours. The parents didn't do anything to keep the child calm. Before we got to Chicago eveyone had to be seatbelt s before landing and the flight attendant asked eveyone to buckle up. The mother of the baby wouldn't listen and began yelling at flight crew. I think the flight crew did a great job, the passenger and child were very disruptive making the flight at times very uncomfortable. I wouldn't suggest infants or toddlers flying for such long trips. No one wants to listen to a child screaming at the top of their lungs."

There was a curtain which separates the business class and economic class. As the 1st point, my seat was the 1st-row aisle seat, so the curtain hit me every time the crew went through the curtain, which is extremely annoying. 3. The Entertainment screen is so difficult to use, either hard to touch or so slow."

Negativ: "Ich wurde nie davon unterrichtet, dass meine Flüge von Porto nach Graz wegen eines Pilotenstreiks gestrichen waren. Ich habe das zufällig von einem Freund aus Graz telefonisch erfahren. Ich habe 1-1/2 Stunden vergeblich versucht jemanden der Lufthansa telefonisch zu erreichen, um meinen Flug umzubuchen. Es ist mir dann gelungen, auf meinem Handy den Flug auf eine andere Route, einen Tag später als ursprünglich gebucht umzubuchen, aber ich habe dann meine "preferred" Sitze und mein extra Gepäckstück, für die ich bezahlt hatte, verloren. Spät Abends habe ich dann, nach 30 Minuten bei der Lufthansa eine Dame erreicht, die mir dann "preferred" Sitze zugeteilt hat. Auf die Frage, ob meine Bezahlung für ein extra Gepäckstück auch anerkannt würde, bat sie mich in der Warteschleife kurz zu warten, aber nach weiteren 45 Minuten in der Warteschleife gab ich auf. Am nächsten Morgen, beim einchecken, waren meine "preferred" Sitze anderweitig vergeben und ich musste mich damit abfinden, trotz ursprünglicher Aufzahlung, im hinteren Teil des Flugzeuges zu reisen. Ich nehme sehr stark an, zum letzten Mal mit der Lufthansa, es gibt ja auch andere. Durch den Streik der Lufthansa Piloten, bin ich nicht die Route Porto - München - Graz geflogen, sondern einen Tag später, Porto - Frankfurt - Graz. Eine Vergütung für eine durch den Streik der Lufthansa Piloten erzwungene extra Übernachtung, habe ich nicht bekommen."

Negativ: "Lufthansa cancelled my flight on November 23rd a few hours prior to departures because their pilots went on a strike. When I called and asked if they would rebook me the lady on the phone said that she could rebook for a trip that had two layovers from 2pm(Prague time) to 8:30pm(NYC time) for the 24th of November (thanksgiving). When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Die 747-400 erscheint mir mittlerweile doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Ich empfand sie (vermutlich wars die Klimatisierung?!) als deutlich lauter als den A380"

Negativ: "Konnte nicht angetreten werden, da es ein anschlussflug war, den ich nciht erreichen konnte, da der andere flieger e1,5 stunden verspätung hatte....alles sehr ärgerlich"

KEIN SERVICE, EINFACH NUR SCHLECHT UND ÄRGERLICH!"

Und da das Weiterflug-Gate direkt in der Nähe war, konnte man den Flieger auch ohne erneute und unnötige Sicherheitskontrolle erreichen. Allerdings gab's auch keine Passkontrolle. Mir sollte es Recht sein."

Negativ: "Einchecken in Birmingham eine Katastrophe. Lange Schlange und Wartezeit von mindestens einer halben Stunde beim Boarding. Es wird schon der Final Call ausgerufen, während die Passagiere alle in der Schlange vor der Abfertigung stehen. Und dann bei strömendem Regen zu Fuss zum Flieger, weil er nicht andoggen kann. Alle nass ins Flugzeug. Aber, das liegt natürlich an der Abfertigung in Birmingham und nicht an KLM."

We were traveling with 5 kids including an infant and we were not allowed to board until we found the receipt. I thought surely they would have record that I had paid, but I guess not. We were the last to board and all very stressed out. The staff seemed not to care the least in our troubles."

Despite confirming our luggage situation with us at the first airport repeatedly (because of our connecting flight) SAS still temporarily lost our baggage when we arrived at our final destination and caused us to stay an additional hour at the airport after already having spent an exhausting day travelling."

I tied the top and put in next to me near the aisle because I expected the attendant to come pick it up. The attendant told me I had to take it to the lavatory and dispose of it in there. It was very hard to get the large plastic bag into the small trash receptacle because it had fill with air. I asked the attendant for another airsick bag but she never brought it. The girl got sick again and she used my airsick bag. While walking the bag up to the lavatory, I asked a different attendant for another airsick bag. They just told me I had to dispose of it in the lavatory and never brought another airsick bag. I had to ask someone for their airsick bag because the girl got sick a third time. I can not believe the horrible service on this flight! The poor girl was crying because she felt so sick and there wasn't anyone to help her. I did what I could but I felt something could have been done by the crew. I will think twice before I reserve another flight on SAS."

Positiv: "The Lufstansa flight we ended up boarding to San Francisco for a connector to Las Vegas was a pretty good flight. The entertainment and food choices were excellent. As a matter of fact I ended up declining the last meal served because I was still full from the first meal and snack. The crew was friendly and professional. I really liked the bathroom waiting area on the lower deck, which was great place to stretch out and do a few exercises on a long flight."
Negativ: "To begin with I should mention I am 6'1" and stocky, so the economy seat was a bit tight; my knees were against the back of the seat in front of me. The previous flight coming to Europe had more room between the seats. The biggest problem by far was that the Eurowings flight was delayed by 8 hours! The Lufstansa customer service at first handed us a sheet of paper with contact information for Eurowings, Once she found out that we booked the original flight through Air Canada, she was able to help us get another flight. The flight was routed through San Francisco, with a transfer to a United flight to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the United flight has 'technical' issues that delayed it another three and a half hours! So, rather than getting home to Las Vegas at 4 p.m. on Thursday, we ended up getting home at 4 a.m. on Friday morning. We never were told why the original flight was delayed 8 hours!"

I stood around for 20 minutes asking anyone who would help me where the desk was. We were finally notified at 8:40 that eurowings was the last desk in the aisle."

Am Flughafen dürfte ich am Shalternummern 50 51 52 53 54 der Check in machen aber in der Tat nur 52-54 waren aktiv und sie waren auch für die Passegieren di nach Düsseldorf mussten verfügbar .... Das heißt 2000 Menschen zusammen die nicht wüssten wo die Reihe anfängt....dazu sehr unfreundliche und unorganisierte Personal... ich habe gesagt, dass jemand der Anzeigegerät korrigieren sollte, oder die Reihe führen, weil die Menschen nicht wussten wohin zu gehen ... es würde mir von Schalter 52 geschrien, dass ich Ruhe machen müsste sonst hätte ich sogar den Flug verloren...nach einer Stunde Wartezeit habe ich wieder neue angefangen weil der Mann am Schalter 50 hatte gesagt "sorry wir machen hier kein Check in das ist nur für M50??????" Das heißt????"

We were confused when they did not give us our boarding passing for our connecting flight at our original departure desk, and were told we would receive the boarding passes at the gate in Zurich. I never received any notice about his being a Eurowings flight or instructions to check in online. Our incoming flight to Zurich was delayed at least a half hour and it took us a while to get to the gate for our connecting flight. When we arrived, the gate had just been closed and we were told we were not even on the ledger. We were told we would have needed to get our boarding passes at the Swiss Sor desk and required prior check in to be on the passenger list. We were also very confused about the fact that this was a eurowings fight even though our booking indicated Swiss. This has never happened to us before. We would have needed additional instructions for prior check in, and had we been on the passenger list perhaps the plane would have waited for us."

Negativ: "Food menu was not accurate. Items listed not available. Food prices were too high. $15 Euro for a reheated fish dinner and small beverage is ridiculous. Carry on bags were weighed. Very difficult to meet carryon weight when carrying necessary electronics and chargers along with prescriptions and the recommended change of clothes. Made the trip stressful. I am used to meeting carryon SIZE requirements but the weight requirement was extremely irritating and unexpected. I would not have been able to do a one bag carryon of my clothing with the weight restrictions. It essentially forces a passenger to check their bag ($65 minimum)."

Negativ: "The service of the airline was horrible. They lost our bags and refused to show any empathy towards us or the multiple other passengers that also lost their bags from our flight. I will never fly Eurowings again."

Negativ: "The flight was delayed and there was even no information about it. Gate number was changed after boarding time and we didn’t hear any appologize not even receive some meal vouchers or food on board. We arrived more then 1 hour later- I can not evalute this as a good service."

Their credit card processing machine was not working properly, which was frustrating: the flight attendant got frustrated and had to come back again until she can process my payment."

Negativ: "My husband was seated in row 2 and I was seated in row 29, even though there were many spare seats in blocks of two and three that we could have been sat in; then I was forced to put my carryon luggage in the hold, meaning I had to wait ages at the baggage reclaim on arrival, and was late for my air BnB check in. When I booked my flight I deliberately chose not to check any luggage, spent time planning what to take so that it would fit in a carryon bag, and measured out my liquids into small bottles so that they passed the liquids restrictions: all effort and time spent in vain due to Wizz Air. I was furious!"

If i were to bring an oversized and too heavy handluggage on board no doubt I wouldn't get away with it ! However the number of large and heavy bags passengers brought on board last night was ridiculous . It was a real struggle for people to find lockers for.their bags. Some people had quite a few. Delays take off and creates unnecessary chaos. Couldn't understand why I had to pay to check in online, obviously missed that when bookrd. Although I recall reading that it will cost if you check in the airport- so most likely my error. No facility or button to print boarding pass once checked in. No contact us button - I would like to change seat I booked for return but cannot see how to do this on line."

Negativ: "The airline does not have kiosk check-in. You are checked in automatically, and if you buy through a third party, your boarding pass is emailed to you. Never having flown this 'unique' airline before, we did not know the process. At the check-in desk, the clerk told us that if we couldn't show him our boarding pass, he would charge us 30GBP to print them. He was a complete jerk. After no help from him, I was able to figure out that we did have them as attachments. Never again."

Negativ: "There was a mix up and the Wizz Air website did not work. Therefore, I couldn't check in a get my seats booked. I also could not prepay for my luggage so they overcharged me at the airport and had an attitude about it. My luggage was given three different prices quotes. I am very upset their website didn't work and they ripped me off at the airport."

Negativ: "The plane was creaky, there was a ton of turbulence, the flight attendants even got nervous which was very disquieting."

Negativ: "Kajak ist ein super Portal um Flüge zu suchen. Die Buchung über lastminute.de ist aber eine Katastrophe und am Ende so teuer wie bei der Fluggesellschaft direkt. Nächstes Mal buche ich direkt bei der Fluggesellschaft."

Positiv: "Pünktlich sind die bei Wizzair immer. Personal immer gleich neutral freundlich. Aber: siehe nebenan..."
Negativ: "Das Einchecken eine einzige Katastrophe. Obwohl vorher ein online checkin verlangt wird und auch alle Passagiere dies in Form eines Ausdrucks oder per Telefon App vorlegen konnten, brauchte es geschlagene 50 Minuten, bis man an die Reihe kam. Pro Passagier etwa 5-7 Minuten Wartezeit. Eine echte Zumutung!!! Zumal dann auch die Sicherheitskontrolle nochmals 30 Minuten in Anspruch nimmt. Das liegt zwar alles nicht direkt in der Verantwortung von Wizzair, aber zumindest sollte man darauf Einfluß nehmen können. Wenn vorher eingecheckt wird, sollte es nicht mehr als eine Minute pro Passagier dauern, wie das ja auch an anderen Flughäfen möglich ist."

Negativ: "hidden charges - not clear when booking that there is a fee for everything, even for carry on bags if a certain size, selecting a seat, if not checked in on line, and the list goes on, soft drinks too"

Positiv: "Nice, new plane; clean; good service from the cabin crew; departed & arrived on time. Can't ask for much else on a low-cost airline"
Negativ: "Beware of extra charges for 'normal carry-on' size hand luggage as Wizz have much smaller allowance than normal budget airlines. We were charged an extra €45 each for hand luggage that is standard everywhere else. Not helped that we flew easyJet to Budapest without issue only to be stung on the return with Wizz. In fact WizzAir have 2 sizes of cabin baggage allowance and small is way too small and it felt like a trap to make money off unsuspecting passengers. They are unapologetic and perfunctory at the boarding gate - clearly they are used to unhappy punters being caught out by this! Food choice onboard not great"
